The Missing Crochet and Lily's Sugar 'n Cream Yarn Review

Hey!!
So, it was last Sunday, and I couldn't find my amigurumi anywhere! I looked everywhere and I couldn't find it anywhere!!!! To this day I still haven't found it! So anyway I really luckily got new yarn to restart my amigurumi dragon and I chose Lily's Sugar 'n Cream The Original in Robin's Egg. It is the most beautiful colour and it works up like a dream! It doesn't split easily at all and it is 100% cotton so it is really soft! Here is a pic:

Just thought I would mention that I did use the app Photo Editor- by Axiem Systems to edit this photo. Anyway, have a good rest of the day and keep checking my blog as I will be posting a What's in my sketchbook? post soon!

Just updates......

Hello!
I do want to say a quick sorry for not posting in ages! Before the anniversary post I hadn't posted in ages so I'm sorry! But I have been getting creative........

I've started a new project! Obviously I haven't yet finished my blanket but I wanted a change from just crocheting granny squares! I decided to finally try amigurumi (yes, you heard it right) and I really like it. It isn't all that different: all you have to remember is not to chain at the beginning of a row and you are all set! The pattern I am using is from All About Ami and here is a picture of her finished dragon that I found on her blog and am making thanks to her great pattern!

He is so cute! You can find the free pattern here. I am making him with a 3.5 mm hook because my yarn is thicker than what is suggested. I will keep on updating you on how it is going!

My First Blog Anniversary!!!!!!!

Hello!
This is such a big day for me!This is the same day I posted my very first post last year on my old blog, http://libbywhittingham.blog.com! Here is where I have come from that day!

The day I started my blog on blog.com I had NO IDEA what I was doing! I fast got used to it, and started playing around with the design of my blog. I was getting quite bored with the limits of blog.com though... I couldn't customise my design, only use templates, and I really wanted to find out how many of you guys had visited my blog and which kind of posts work. I had a look at a few options and decided to move to blogger! I have almost spent 11 months on blogger now, and I have had over 700 page views! That means a LOT to me so thank you guys!!!!! I know you've got a lot (hopefully) of good times to come!

Apologies, Craft Resolutions and general updates

Hello!
I am really sorry for not posing in such a long time! I have been so tired and quite busy lately but anyway I hope you all have had an amazing start to the year and happy new year: I forgot to say that during the 12 days of Craftmas!

So far this year I have been really inspired by the latest edition of Mollie Makes(issue 49) to make some craft resolutions so here they are:

1. To learn amigurumi
2. To make a piece of jewellery from scratch(I mean one that isn't from those little wooden bead craft sets)
3. To finish my granny square blanket
4. To crochet more often!!!!!!!

So for some craft updates I have got 4 of the purple granny squares now so that is coming along!
